ALCOM Achieves Silver Medal in EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment

At Aluminum Company of Malaysia (ALCOM) Bhd, sustainability is at the heart of our business. As part of our unwavering commitment to society, our people, and the environment, we conduct a comprehensive assessment of our sustainability practices every year through EcoVadis, a globally recognised leader in business sustainability ratings.

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four key themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. This rigorous evaluation provides valuable insights into our strengths and areas for continuous improvement in corporate sustainability.

We are proud to announce that in our latest EcoVadis rating, completed in February 2025, ALCOM achieved a Silver Medal with a commendable score of 71/100, placing us in the top 15% of companies worldwide. Our strongest performing categories were Environment and Ethics, reaffirming our dedication to responsible and ethical business operations while minimizing our environmental footprint.
